Sossego waterfall
One of the most beautiful places in Chapada Diamantina National Park, Bahia, Brazil. Just a few hours walk from the village of Lençois, you find this paradisiac spot. The Sossego waterfall is breathtaking by itself, however, the trail leading to this place is not less beautiful. Locals strongly recommend that you go with a guide, and I agree! You follow the river bank in most of the trail, but sometimes is difficult to know where to go. But due to the difficult access, even on busy weekends this place is basically empty!
Definitivamente um dos lugares mais bonitos do Parque Nacional da Chapada Diamantina, Bahia, Brasil. Da pequena Lençois, são algumas horas de caminhada para chegar nesse paraíso. Um guia local é fortemente recomendado para mostrar o caminho, pois em vários trechos não existem marcações mostrando a trilha. A caminhada até a cachoeira do Sossego acompanha o leito do rio e passa por lugares lindos. Por ser de médio/difícil acesso, você encontrará poucos turistas por lá, e isso faz do local um oásis tranquilo para tomar banho e relaxar!
