I often say to my students and clients ... "less is more"!

A good photograph and a good scientific or educational video, is the one that prioritises the subject of the photo or video in question. Excessive editing and overuse of video editing tools, such as scene transitions, sounds, illustrations, etc, decreases the quality of the material most of the time.
