Creatures of the night
I don't know about you, but I love to go for a walk in jungles at night. Where most of the people see fear and danger, I see peacefulness and life! It is amazing how many different creatures can be seen in forests at night. The stick insect (order Phasmatodea) in the photo is an exemple of what we can find in tropical forests when is dark. This individual in particular was photographed inside the Yasuni National Park, in Ecuador.
Não sei quanto a você, mas eu adoro andar em florestas à noite. Onde a maioria das pessoas vê medo e perigo, eu vejo tranqüilidade e vida! É impressionante quantas criaturas diferentes podem ser vistas nas florestas à noite. O inseto pau (ordem Phasmatodea) na foto é um exemplo do que podemos encontrar nas florestas tropicais quando está escuro. Este indivíduo em particular foi fotografado dentro do Parque Nacional Yasuni, no Equador.
