Beaches of Corfu
Corfu (a.k.a. Kerkyra) is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea. The island is a very popular tourist destination due to its hundreds of beaches, great hospitality from the locals and its delicious Mediterranean-Greek cuisine. Apotripiti Beach (photo) is located near the town of Sidari, in the north coast of the Island. The beach itself resembles paradise, with its crystal clear water and soft warm sand. Around, you find a rich natural vegetation, olive tree plantations and beautiful views to the sea. Definitely a place to visit!
