Albatroz Colony
The Bay of Guayaquil, Ecuador, and its many small islands, are home to some of the largest albatroz colonies in the world. They use the branches of different mangrove trees to make their nests and get ready to receive their chicks. This photo illustrates how crowded a single tree can be. In some islands, there are hundreds of thousands albatrozes nesting together, making the island a very interesting place to be!
